Results from 13,749 labels of 445 student answers based on 14 different scenarios are analyzed to provide quantitative and qualitative feedback. To illustrate the performance of these algorithms, students' use-case diagrams are matched with model use-case diagram. In this article, algorithms that compute the syntactic and semantic similarities of nodes to fulfill the objective of automatic assessment of use-case diagrams are described. Therefore, the automatic assessment of diagrammatic answers is a challenging task.

In the delivery of e-learning material, automatic e-assessment has been applied only to some extent in the case of free response answers in highly technical diagrams in domains like software engineering, electronics, etc., where there is a great scope of imagination and wide variations in answers. To find the feasibility of proposed architecture for Automatic Assessment of Use-Case Diagram, online survey has been conducted and detailed statistical analysis of the responses is discussed in this paper.Į-learning plays a significant role in educating large number of students. Objective of this research is to know the feasibility of such tool from the appropriate stakeholders.

In such situation, if there is a tool which can automatically assess the student answer and generate a quality feedback will be useful for teachers and students. Diagrammatic answer of given Use-Case scenario is highly subjective from student to student and still it can be correct. However, to evaluate diagrammatic answer is still a challenge. MCQ Online exam is one of the successful examples where the whole evaluation process is fully automatic. Since decade, researchers are constantly working on innovative and automatic way to improve the assessment process.

Manual assessment is especially a tedious and time-taking process when the number of students enrolled in a subject is large. The introduction of notion of Use –Case diagrams data fetching and storing it in database has provided a platform for developing a tool of automated comparison and evaluation which includes different patterns of use – cases. The results of experiment show acceptability of submission of Use – Case diagrams' created through StarUML. CONCLUSION In this paper we have described architecture through which user can upload their file in which Use – Case diagram is drawn using StarUML tool. We are working towards automatic evaluation of Use – Case diagram stored in the database by Use – Case Extractor. FUTURE WORK This tool has been built to assist automatic evaluation of Use – Case diagram.

The results shows that the data of Use – Case diagrams generated by users through XML parsing process is stored in the database successfully This shows that the image file in which user has drawn the Use – Case diagrams through StarUML successfully gets parsed and the data is stored in the database successfully in 100% cases. RESULTS The results of experiment are very satisfactory.
